I haven't uploaded anything in a while, but I do have quite a few things in the works. Current projects:

- 100 crosses: Fishers of men. This is a rather large painting that I've been working on all summer and I've gotten somewhat frustrated with it so I'm putting it off to the side and coming back to it later.

- Personal project - steampunk outfit. I picked up some old stuff from the Salvation Army store and ordered some gears from Etsy which came in the mail a while ago, so I'll be "pimping" my outfit in any way possible, haha. I'm hoping to wear this to the semi-anti-homecoming party, but Jy doesn't want us to be the only couple in costume

- Very seekrit project. I'm going to have this one done before October 12th.

- Art class project - sketchbook. We made our own sketchbooks in art class, cut and sewed together the papers and everything, and I'm just finishing with the front cover design. It should be done Monday or Tuesday, though I'm not sure when I'll have a picture of it up.

- Personal project - Legends of Cardamignon. I'm working on a digital painting of a steampunk-ish flying woman that looks awesome so far. :3 She's going to be in front of ~jycius's Cardamignon castle-island. Whether Cardamingonians actually look like this or not, that's up to Jy, it's just an idea that formed in my head that I had to pay attention to.

- Commission - Dragon linearts. This is seriously taking a ridiculous amount of time, so after this commission I'm not going to be working on any more lineart commissions. They're a pain in the neck and it takes me months to finish them, and after the sketching portion of it all of the fun drains out of it. There's no color to play with, it's just black lines from there on out. I'll be switching to portrait commissions only, just to keep my sanity.

- Commission - Group picture. This commission is more tolerable, lots of color and activity to work with. It's slightly more gory than what I'm used to - one of the characters has a steel spike impaled through it's muzzle and another has eyes that cry tears of blood, but I'm not going to be depicting that in insanely realistic detail anyway. For the most part it's rather colorful and cartoony.

I'm going to be working on all of these today, except for the 100 crosses piece, I think I'll be starting a new one instead of trying to work on a piece that I've burned myself out on. Maybe painting something else will help me refresh my love for acrylics and give me a reason to keep going on big-huge-painting.
